The Pop Art exhibition at the The Herbert  should definitely be on your list to visit if you are heading to Coventry during your stay.  The Herbert is a great free gallery and museum only about 20 mins drive from North Mere.  With Coventry becoming the UK City of Culture in 2021 there will hopefully be some more little gems like this to visit.
