If you are visiting our cottages with your family in the run up to Christmas why not book a special treat.  Vintage Trains are hosting an exciting magical experience, THE POLAR EXPRESS™ .  The train ride is returning in 2023 Christmas Season (November and December) with the magic of the 2004 motion picture THE POLAR EXPRESS™ being theatrically re-created so you and your family can be immersed in the sights and sounds of this classic children’s tale.

POLAR EXPRESS™ – Birmingham to Dorridge | Vintage Trains

Trains start at Birmingham Moor Street station.  To get there from North Mere cottages just hop on a normal train from Tile Hill to Birmingham New Street.  These run ever 15 – 20 mins and only take 20 – 25 mins to get there.  Tile Hill Station is about 10 mins drive away but please check road closures before you go as HS2 constructions often closes roads on that road.
